Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while...School has literally been KILLING ME. Buuut, I have a really cool idea to share with you so I hope you like it! :D
Okay...
I don't know about anyone else but, I totally love my hair after a day at the beach. It's had the sun light making it lighter all day and the saltiness from the sea in it. I just love it! But when I get home it's all gone and I'm just left with a big mess :(
I've been introduced to a new product which can give my hair a really cute beach look, and I'm SO glad I've found it! :D This is known as salt spray, it's easy to make and use and makes a big difference to your hair! Stay with me and I'll teach you how to make it, here it goes...
What you will need:
A bottle with a spray lid
Sea salt (preferably)
Water
Conditioner (of any kind)
Hair spray
1. Find your bottle and fill up 3 quarters of it with water.
2. Then add some conditioner so it fills up the rest of the bottle.
3. Add a little salt, just a pinch will do.
4. Give the solution a squirt with your hair spray.
5. Screw on the lid, shake it up and spray that little bottle of magic on your hair.
There you go, 5 simple steps on a little D.I.Y for your hair. Hope you like it! <3

How to achieve | perfect turquoise nails
Painting your nails can be such a struggle, you never know what colour to choose, what will match with your skin tone? Then once you've found a perfect colour and start painting... you muck it up. You go over the edges and it's one big disaster! Trust me, I've been there. And I know it can be frustrating, but I've come up with the perfect nails that are quick, simple and easy!
Follow this routine and you can get super pretty nails that will make everyone jealous ;)
Step 1. Paint your nails in a clear base coat, this will make the nail polish easier to remove when you want to take it off and try something new.
Step 2. Once the base coat has properly dried, carefully paint over the top with your turquoise nail polish. Take your time with this, make sure this layer isn't too thick other wise it will never dry. I recommend you use a 'stay perfect' polish for this as I think they work the best.
Step 3. Quickly after each nail is painted, take a small amount of nail glitter and sprinkle it onto the wet polish. Remember "less is more" so don't go overboard when doing this as a smaller amount looks so much better.
Step 4. Leave the glitter to stick to the drying polish. Once it has dried your nails may feel a little crusty, to make them feel smooth again put another coating of clear over the top. This will make your nails smoother and shinier.
And there you are, perfect turquoise nails which doesn't take any time at all! Turquoise may not match with everything, but it's good to clash and mix and match. Don't you agree? ;)

How to achieve | gothic messy hair
Some people might not agree with this, but I adore Goths and
their sense of style; but what I like most about them is their dramatic hair
styles. I often leave the house with quite eye catching hair, every other week I’m
dying my hair a different elaborate colour from pastel blue to dark purple I’m
just in love with the whole idea. And the hair style I choose just tops it off,
call me a Goth? That’s a compliment to me.
Just in case you don’t quite understand what I’ve typed
there will be pictures of me exampling each instruction to help, enjoy!
Also before I begin I’d just like to inform you guys that
this certain hair style works best if you haven’t washed your hair on the same
day J
Step 1. Spray the
roots of your hair thoroughly with some dry shampoo. Any type will do and if
you don’t keep dry shampoo at home you could always use a little baby powder.
Yes that might sound odd but, believe me, it works.
Step 2. Rub it into
the roots, for this you can use either your fingers or a spiky brush. It’s
entirely up to you, personally I would use a brush for this.
Step 3. Start to
tease/back comb your hair. Start at the roots and slowly work your way down to
the bottom of your ears. Leave the long ends of your hair! Your hair should
start to pick up volume on top. By the way, don’t be shy when back combing your
hair. It’s meant to look big!
Step 4. You now need
to hold the back combed hair in place; to do this you could use anything. For
example: hair wax, hair spray, styling gel. Personally I would use hair spray
as I think it works the best.
Step 5. Now you’ve
sorted out the tops of your hair, it’s time to sort out the ends. Gently brush
the ends of your hair so they are smooth to the touch, I prefer to do this with
a comb but you can use what you like. Also I like to use grape seed oil on my
ends, this product makes your hair softer and repairs split ends too!
Step 6. Now for the
final touch... Straighten the ends of your hair! This, of course, is optional
but i always like to do it as a finishing touch. Then ta-dah you’re pretty much
done. You could always add some accessories if you would like too, like a girly
bow for example. Simple but effective!
So, there are 6 easy steps on how to do a cute gothic hair
style! If you enjoyed, leave a comment? If you feel like giving it a go you
could send me a picture of the finished results? You can find my social network
details on the tab ‘contact’!
Hope you enjoyed <3
